Is photo important?

hmm... what do you think??
i have friends who dont even bother abt having a photographer at their wedding.. but then again ... the wedding ceremony itself is a chore to them... juz gonna go thru it... so might as well get uncle sam or buddy wong who have juz bought a DSLR to do the job... anyway all wedding juz need a cameraman rite?..

i have also met people who went through every single details for their wedding day... making sure everything is perfect... as busy as it may be... the couple enjoyed the process of planning their once in the lifetime ceremony... n no doubt.. they gonna get a good photographer to document it before its over...

so which group do you belong to?... :)

a spilt second moment...
captured n documented by an aspiring wedding photographer (me) :P..

So if you are planning your wedding... take your side... make the right choice... :)

Traditionally Yours...

To date... i have been to quite a no. of wedding... Many have similar custom... tradition that are passed down thru the generation.. some are more particular than others...

Occasionally, there will be uncles and aunties asking me what are they suppose to do... i will politely tell them what i hv experienced... but seriously.... i think what is most important is that they are comfortable with what they are doing esp. for the couple...

I have always explained to my potential couples that there is no need to do a big whoohaa for that perfect picture.... let things flow naturally... i will simply capture and preserve that moment the way i know best..... :)

The above images juz happened.... without any direction... M.O.B (mum of bride) :P simply threw the rice over the bride....
With an artistic vision and journalistic approach.. it is as natural as it get.. :)

A Sneak Peek... E & P

Documenting a wedding is usually mentally and physically exhausting... not mentioning if i have to produce an Xpresshighlight for the banquet... there is really no break at all... ok... maybe a short nap in the cab... that is all..  (that is y i don't drive to wedding)...
however, knowing that the couples, their relatives and friends appreciate what you do...
knowing that i will be witnessing one of the most impt event in a couple's life  and having the confident to capture n preserve some amazing images... it juz kept me going..... :)

so here you go... some really amazing images... :P from Eng Ann & Pey Gee wedding...

One of the craziest gatecrashing i have seen.... involving bananas and underwears.... so use your imagination!

there are so many images from that day...
which also meant that my backlog is piling up again...*sweat*..
better clear some before the nxt wedding...

Mono series..

Usually when i want to express the emotion of the images, i would remove the colors, which in my opinion... is a distraction.... this allows more focus on the subject facial expression...

Though i am not a big fan of mono(B/W) images... here are a few which i really like... :)

This is priceless.... pretty bride taking a peep during the reception... :)

------------------------------

Recently.. i have been receiving quite a few enquires on dates that i am already booked...
As much as i want to be able to make it for their wedding... i cant... such a waste... so pls do enquire and book early to avoid disappointment! ... :)

Eng Ann & Pey Gee... Xpresshighlight

This is one wedding that i would go an extra mile to get the job done, not that i don't do it for the rest... but they are 1 couple that deserve slightly more :)... Eng Ann & Pey Gee had engaged my service about 1 year ago... giving me complete trust and freedom to do what i want... how could i not do more for them.. :)

Having a bunch of savvy groomsmen in white and okley sunglasses... they looked really cool... going against the lovely group of bridesmaid... things could only go crazy.. n its really got me excited :P... it got so crazy during the end of the gatecrashing that i unknowingly hurt my toe... felt the pain.. but didnt have the time to check it out until i reached home to do up the Xpresshighlight... its bleeding... *sweat*... but seriously i did not even have the time to feel the pain.. having only 4 hrs to do up the highlight... before i know.. its time to rush back to the hotel...

During the screening of the Xpresshighlight, the laughters and thunderous applause from the audience really gave me a great sense of satisfaction... the blood n sweat... :P .. its all worthwhile.. :)

So with my bruised toe :P ... i present to you the Xpresshighlight (Still + Motion) of Eng Ann & Pey Gee..

Do stay tune for the rest of the images... :)
