Woohoo... finally i have cleared all my albums... ok that is for wedding in 08.. :P 

Went thru the images from Edwin & Celeste wedding... They are one of those couples who got me to do their childhood montage... going thru their childhood photos... i really got to know them better.. did i mention both are crazy abt honda cars.. this is how they met each other (at one of those SHC meet up)..

i have never seen any groom enjoying the tang yuan more than Edwin... seriously i think he love tang yuan.. or is he juz hungry??..

To do list....

This is pretty much on how i spend my weekend (today) if i am not shooting a wedding...

 Walk the dog/s (Today we went to ECP).... Evo love swimming...
Meet up with client no.1....
Meet up with client no.2 (to deliver album)...
Meet up with client no.3...
Makan/Watch a movie (maybe)
Home (editing photos/clearing backlogs)

No complaint... love what i am doing... :)

My Perspective....

Recently... i read up an article over the net on "How to choose your wedding photographer"... there are many pointers that r pretty useful to couples... so google it... it really help... 

Anyway... one of the most important point that is mentioned... n i totally agreed... "NEVER Bargain"... reason is simple... all self respected photographer will usually benchmark their work according to the market rate... its an art piece that is usually priceless... Unless his work doesn't impress you at all... you are better off looking for someone else... 

Ok... lets say.. you like his work... and even succeed in bringing the price down... would the photographer go the extra mile to get the winning shot for you?... this is something you might want to consider...

Personally... i always believe that wedding is a "once in a lifetime" affair... you have spent thousands of dollar in your gown, in venue, in the setting up... it is only logical to document it through photography... choose the photographer that work has impressed you... even it meant spending the extra bucks... it is seriously worth it...

i need to run up 2 flight of stairs... shouted 3 storey down to get everyone out of way... 

*sweat*... but it is all worthwhile... :)

anyway... this could not be possible if not for the hardwork of my associate photographer (Civon)... She is stationed at the reception area to get shots of relatives and friends... while i got a bit creative... not having to worry abt the couple looking for me to shoot those group photos.. it really allows me to do my thing... :)

Sweet...

Documented a short and sweet ceremony today.... Met an old friend from campus... 

Time really flies.... Its been 5 years since i left school... really miss those days... those ppl that i hung out with... We even ran an election together for the Students' Union... and i even won and was elected as the President... Sweet!... love the sense of accomplishment and recognition by my peers... really sweet!.. 

That was 5 years ago... n today... through photography... i found the same sense of accomplishment.. :)

Ok.. i am tired.. gonna recharge and pick up my sweetheart from the airport later...

Faces...

Sometimes.. u might be wondering y some of my photos doesn't even show the face of the couple... ok.. let me explain... to me... its never about into "your face" kind of photograph... 

i am there to document the process.. the moment... it is all about being there and done it... 

and i will preserve it the way i know best... 

:).. today i'm feeling damn good... cleared load of images... 

left with the layout and i am done.... YES!

Be Inspired & KIDS...

Kids... as crazy as they can be... really brighten the ceremony that can sometime be monotonous.. i love having them around... the more the merrier... they make my job so much easier... :)

The process of editing images usually require some inspiration...  at least for me... and most of the time... the source of inspiration comes from the music i listen to... this is one that i like alot....

i have been toying with this idea for sometime now... always wanted to do video... a fusion with my photos... finally with my new camera... i am able to do just that...
